The Atomic Prune are a dynamic, energetic blues trio based in Buckinghamshire, UK.
Guitarist Ronni and multi-instrumentalist Ben met at Aylesbury Folk Club in late 2017, and bonded through a shared passion for blues-based music. We have been gigging ever since and 2024 saw the addition of Hayden at the drumkit.

Our music is rooted in British Blues with elements of skiffle, vintage blues and rock music. Our many influences include Cream, Free, Howling Wolf and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, creating a sound that’s traditional but with a modern edge.

We mainly gig in and around Aylesbury - Princes Risborough, High Wycombe, Oxford and Bletchley are familiar stomping grounds. Take a look at the ‘Upcoming Gigs’ tab to see if we’re playing near you any time soon! Come along and see for yourself what the fuss is about!
